FEATURED RESOURCES
DEPRESSION & ADDICTION: SIGNS, SYMPTOMS & TREATMENT
Nearly a quarter of American adults in 2020 had a form of mental illness, with mood and anxiety disorders being some of the most common. Depression and addiction commonly co-occur, and each condition can complicate the other.

The Boca Recovery Center has created a comprehensive depression and addiction resource guide:
DEPRESSION & ADDICTION: SIGNS, SYMPTOMS & TREATMENT to spread awareness, understanding, and treatment options.

UNDERAGE DRINKING AND IT'D DANGERS is a useful resource (especially for parents and educators) compiled by the law firm of Brown and Crouppen to provide factual information regarding the use, supply, and consequences of underage drinking,
GAMBLING ADDICTION HELP GUIDE
An unfortunate consequence of the pandemic and other recent social & economic stressors is the severe affect on psychological well-being.  Mental health problems are worsening and addictive behaviors are escalating.

Statistics are showing a spike specifically in problem gambling.

Dismally, access to mental health treatment has been curtailed. The GAMBLING ADDICTION HELP GUIDE may be used as a starting point to provide help to those who are seeking information about gambling problems.  The guide discusses gambling addiction signs and symptoms and it also includes a list of references to state-approved programs, in addition to other local options.
